Artist Painter and Illustrator
A very Happy New Year to you !
I haven’t posted here in a while because I have been working on some projects for the publisher Le Lotus et L’éléphant, and I can’t wait to tell you more about it when I am finally able to 🙂
In the mean time I have felt so fortunate last year to receive a number of commissioned paintings, in the traditional Japanese Painting technique that I use, ‘Nihon-ga’.
Here are a few that I have painted !

En 2020 j’ai eu le plaisir de créer des illustrations pour le site Siete Veces Siete de mon amie Laura Devos.
L’illustration de la page principale représente un encrier séparé en deux par les racines des fleurs qui en sortent, qui mènent vers les différents contenus du site. J’ai également décliné cette illustration en logo plus simplifié.
Pour décorer encore j’ai crée quelques icônes pour les différentes parties de ‘écrits’ et ‘plumes’.
Le tout a été merveilleusement assemblé par Barthélemy.

Mission avec la société Ekodev pour le Syndicat Haute-Garonne Environnement.
Pour la création d’outils pédagogiques sur la biodiversité, la société Ekodev m’a commandé des illustrations naturalistes en vectoriel des espèces suivantes : Carabe doré, Cloporte, Desman des Pyrénées, Lézard des murailles, Hirondelle des fenêtres et Pastel du teinturier.
Ceux-ci figurent sur les panneaux d’exposition à la Maison de la Biodiversité située au cœur de la Forêt départementale de Buzet-sur-Tarn sur la commune de Paulhac.

Here’s a little rat skating into 2020 !
As some of you may know already we are welcoming the RAT in the Chinese/Japanese New Year 🙂
In Japan the rat is already here whereas in China it is at the start of the lunar calendar… not sure quite when it is this year !

Ten years later, and for the first time since my graduation exhibition at Norwich University of the Arts in 2008, I was proud to exhibit some of my work in England at the Spring Art Show this April.
The exhibition is organised by artist Brian Korteling, who is also one of the founders of Art Fair East.
